Peer-Reviews and final touches
After I made sure all of the titles faded in and out on the right times, I was finished with the majority of the final task. All I had to do left was send the opening sequence to a couple of other people for them to review it. The first person I sent it to took a really long time to review it. When she did end up looking at it, she said that it was just okay. There was no real in depth criticism given to me. I decided to ask the same person to re-review it with more detailed feedback. After a day of the person reviewing the film, they gave me a couple of notes. The first note that was given was that the music in the background did not fit the mood of the opening sequence. She told me that I should use more of a soft music that gives off a melancholy mood. Another piece of feedback was that the music was overbearing and you could not hear the dialogue happening in the background. So far for the music, I have to switch the ambiance, and lower the volume of the sound when the dialogue starts. Other than the music, she said that some of the scenes were a bit shaky. I may have to re-film the shaky scenes so that the camera looks like it was filmed as a steadicam. The third note is that the editing seems to be really obvious, and the titles look too big on the screen. With all of this feedback from the firs reviewer, I went and looked back at my film. I searched for new music to implement in the opening sequence, and picked throughout three songs. I used each one and chose which was the best fit for the film. After this, I went and looked at the shaky scenes my peer was talking about and took notes so that I can try and fix how to film these particular scenes. After the re-filming, I will have to fix the obvious editing because I can't do anything right now due to the fact that I do have to film some scenes over.
