Editing Blog

In the picture below, I am editing the first part of the commercial. I attempted to do a match cut, where I took two different scenes, and played them back and forth, while the screen was rotating. This is to display the product and what it looks like. I slowed down both of the scenes in the beginning, to show the back and the color more. The next scene transitions to the opening screen where you first power on your phone. I placed text beside the iPhone to show the model type, and what type of phone it is. The next scene fades to the Iphone floating, with a plain background, and more informative text on the side. I included music into the background that fits the theme of the commercial, which is modern and futuristic. Most of the isolated phone scenes are slowed down because it gives the video a more calm feeling, instead of it staying the same speed. The outside scene's lighting was adjusted to accentuate the sky, making it more aesthetically pleasing. I attempted to eliminate any background noise behind the videos, while doing a voice over, explaining thoroughly key points that were not mentioned in the text. I tried to make all of the scenes come together smoothly, while still being able to put in all of the information for the commercial needed.
